how do i register?

There are two ways of registration: Online Registration and Offline Registration.



ONLINE REGISTRATION

Online registration is very easy, just simply click on the Online Registration link and it will bring you to The Union Services page where you will have the following two options:


1: If you have logged onto the site before.

If you are already registered with The Union, fill in your email address and password in the top right hand box and click the 'SEND' button. You will be brought to the Registration Conference page. 

If you have forgotten your password please click the Forgot your password? section and you will be sent a new automatically generated password.  Please log back in with this new password - you will be able to change your password once logged in.


2: First Time Users.

If this is your first time logging onto the site, click the 'FIRST VISIT' button. Here you will be asked for you CU number (Union Membership number) and/or your email address to be filled out and submitted.

Fill out your User Account Information and password and click 'REGISTER' once all fields are completed.


Once logged in, you will be directed to the services page, where you will see the conferences icon: 


Conferences

 

Click on 'Conferences' and then choose Online Registration to bring up the online registration form. This form is to be completed in full and once ready select the 'ONLINE PAYMENT' button for your credit card payment.

Once this payment has successfully gone through, you will be sent a confirmation email with details of your registration. Print this confirmation out and bring it with you to the Kuala Lumpur 2012 conference.

 

OFFLINE REGISTRATION

For those wishing to pay by bank transfer or cheque, an offline registration will need to be made and can be downloaded from the above link.


This form will need to be completed in full and sent either via email or fax to The Union (details of where to send to are on the form).


In order to track the payment, when paying by bank transfer, please ensure to indicate that this is a 'registration' payment, with the delegate name(s) or company name in the payment reference.

Please also include a copy of the bank transfer order with your registration form.

 

Once your Offline Registration has been received and processed, a confirmation email will be sent out to the email address provided. Please print this confirmation email and bring it with you to the Kuala Lumpur 2012 conference.

Offline registrations sent without payment will not be confirmed.

* Online registration will remain open until 12 November 2012 at the regular fee

* Local Fee is allocated for nationals of Malaysia only.  Identification showing Malaysian nationality will need to be provided upon collection of registration tickets at the conference.

 

 

what are the accompanying persons entitled to?


Registered accompanying persons are entitled to attend the Welcome Cocktail on Wednesday, 14 November 2012 and coffee breaks, and will be given access to the exhibition area. Accompanying persons are not allowed to attend scientific sessions.

 

 

where do i collect my registration delegate tickets?


All delegate Registration Files will be available to collect from the registration desk at the conference. Please bring your confirmation letter with you to the desk, where you will be able to collect you registration file and your delegate pack. Your invoice for the registration transaction will be inside your Registration file.

The registration desk will be located at the entrance of Hall 1, at the Kuala Lumpur Conference Centre, and will be open from Tuesday, 13 November 2012 from 07:00.

 

 

can i register a group of delegates together?


All online registrations must be filled out and submitted separately, with individual payments per delegate.

Should you have a large group and wish to pay with one transaction, please download a separate offline registration form per delegate and fill each registration out with the delegate's contact details and email address. A different email must be given per delegate registration form in order to confirm the bookings.

Once completed, please send to The Union for processing, along with a copy of the bank transfer for the total amount of delegates.

 

 

why is my payment not going through?

If online payment with a credit card is not working you will need to contact your bank to see what has happened. Some credit cards will not accept payments unless previously authorised or unless the company is listed as a partner.
